Terrain: Mixed terrain inc mud hills and roots. Suitable for spikes. 2 laps for ladies, 3 for men. Route
Parking: Yes, free. Car parking is free and for cars is just off Gilman Road (NR3 4JB). There is a height restriction for this zone, so if a minibus or high vehicle, then can park near the road near Zaks on Gurney Road (NR1 4HW). There is additional parking along Gurney Road near the 9-hole golf (although this also has a height restriction).

The start and finish is at Gilman Road Open Space where you will do one lap at the start of this area before heading into the narrower tracks in the woods.

Meadows: NO SPECTATING in the meadows including the water crossing. We DO NOT have permission for this access, only for the participants to pass through. Thank you. Please take off all muddy shoes BEFORE you go into the hall and the toilets. We want to be allowed back. So bring a change of clothes and shoes and change at your car BEFORE you go and enjoy a cuppa and cake please. The beautiful hall we get to use is NOT a changing facility. The venue is used for weddings and all sorts of lovely events and their furniture doesn’t need to be spoiled by muddy bottoms and feet. If you accidentally make a mess anywhere please see the staff so it can be dealt with quickly.

Start/finish: Parking in the field. If you are driving an exceptionally large vehicle (minibus or large campervan) you may wish to park on the hard standing adjacent to the Bowls Club. We will be requesting a £2 per car donation; this is to cover the cost of use of the facilities at the farm (portable toilet and barn). Please endeavour to bring some change.
Course: One lap of just over 5km for ladies, two laps for men. Suitable for spikes.
Facilities: We have use of a portable toilet. We hope a tea wagon will join us-another reason for bringing some change.
